Storyboard Artist// Sam Hood

 Sam Hood is a storyboard artist who has worked on such films as 'Rio' and 'Ice Age'. Producing each frame on a computer, he then lines up each to create an 'animatic' so the scenes timings and pacing can be viewed more effectively.

His style when producing storyboards is very loose and simple, using colour effectively to identify characters and lighting and also detail. In many frames backgrounds that have already been roughed up are added to his storyboards to really give that extra effect to each frame.

Also working as an animator within the Pixar, Disney and even dreamwork studios; there isn't much this artist hasn't given ago at when it comes to creating.
